Passionate about branding and communication, Tamara Michalenko Terry is associate director for Communication & Public Relations for the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Alvarado, Texas. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Public Relations and is currently working toward her Accreditation in Public Relations.

Having worked for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in various areas of communication for the past 30 years, Terry is inspired by sharing people’s stories. Whenever she has free time, she creates family scrapbooks or homemade cards. She and her husband, Randy, have three young adult sons. One of her favorite Bible verses is John 11:35, “Jesus Wept,” because it shows that Jesus truly understands when we are hurting.
