About Randall B. Terry

Randy Terry, CPA, is the chief financial officer of the Texas Conference, its subsidiaries, and owned institutions. This position entails responsibility for all financial affairs affecting the Texas Conference, including carrying out the financial directives of the constituency as represented by the executive committee. The treasurer oversees the judicious and appropriate use of God’s holy tithes and the generous offerings of the members. In addition, Randy prepares the annual budget and presents financial statements.

Born and raised in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.C., Terry graduated from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University) with a double major in accounting and business administration and a minor in computer science. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1992. Terry began his career in treasury at the Columbia Union Conference and has since held treasury roles at the Chesapeake Conference, the Carolina Conference (in treasury and trust), as treasurer of the Southern New England Conference, and as treasurer of the Upper Columbia Conference. He and his wife, Tamara, have three young adult sons and are avid baseball fans, with a goal to visit every major league baseball stadium—only four more to go.
