Jobnel Tineo, who serves as the Spanish Men’s Ministries coordinator for the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, is also pastor of the Burleson Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church in Burleson, Texas.

He earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from Dominican Adventist University (UNAD) in 2013 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University. From 2013 to 2019, he served as a pastor and chaplain in the Dominican Republic. During this period, he also led the Chaplaincy Department for the Adventist School Union (UNACA) in the Dominican Union Conference, where he supported the spiritual development of students and strengthened chaplaincy ministry across the Adventist educational system.

Since 2019, Tineo has served within the Texas Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in various capacities, including volunteer pastor, Bible worker, part-time pastor, and full-time pastor. He says that throughout his ministry, he has been blessed to participate in planting three new congregations and to assist in guiding two of them through the process of becoming organized churches.

Tineo’s greatest fulfillment comes from serving the Lord alongside his family, witnessing lives transformed by His grace, and participating in the advancement of His kingdom. Beyond his ministerial responsibilities, Tineo enjoys engaging in sports such as baseball, basketball, and volleyball. He also values reading, spending meaningful time with his family, and enjoying nature—activities that contribute to both personal well-being and spiritual growth.

Married to Chrisely Sánchez, the love of his life, he feels blessed to spend time with her raising their two sons, Ethan and Ian, who fill their home with joy, purpose, and inspiration each day.
