Branding
Branding is one of the most essential parts of any organization or event. For the Seventh-day Adventist Church, it is vital to ensure the registered name is always spelled correctly–with a hyphen and little d (Seventh-day). Spellcheck often changes it to a capital D. That is not the registered name. Thanks for fixing it whenever you see it is not spelled correctly.

A Church Event Checklist
AP Style
There are different styles to use when writing. We recommend the Associated Press (AP) style. Click here for “A comprehensive guide to the AP style of writing.”
Smart Quotes
For a more professional look, take the time to change your straight quotes to curly or typographer’s quotes.
Article Size
Articles sizes vary, but 350 to 500 words is a good average.
Pictures
Including at least three to five pictures with the article is always recommended. Have a place like Flickr to upload the images for attendees to download.

Candid interactions – registration area, in-between meetings, meal times, etc.
Group – entire group and smaller groups
Presentation/Award winners
Shots of every speaker while presenting – wide and close-up
Shots of every musician while performing – wide and close-up
Venue (inside and outside)
