An Even Greater Freedom

On July 4, 2026, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. On this day, we recognize and honor our nation’s evolving pursuit of freedom for all. As Christians, we strive for an even deeper, eternal freedom that we will one day experience every day, thanks to the grace and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Galatians 5:1 reminds us, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” We have been given both the privilege and the responsibility to share the good news of that perfect freedom with our neighbors, co-workers and families so that they, too, can experience the gift Christ offers.

The local church budget helps churches do this by providing a place to share the message of Christ through sermons, small groups, Bible studies, fellowship and worship within each community. Your giving to the local church budget keeps your sanctuary functioning as a welcoming and comfortable environment—a place where people can hear about and experience the freedom found in Jesus. What a privilege to help support this place where the freedom we have in Christ is taught, celebrated and shared.

As we give, let’s be thankful for the freedoms we enjoy in our nation and tell others about the even greater freedom we’ve received in Jesus.

 World Budget

Known for its speed and agility, the cheetah is the fastest land mammal, able to go from zero to 60 miles per hour in just three seconds.

When an unexpected situation hits the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we too need to be nimble and agile to respond rapidly. By so doing, we can turn a challenge into a new opportunity to increase the impact of God’s mission throughout the world.

In recent years your support of the World Mission Budget offering has helped fund projects such as an outreach center in Eastern Europe and television stations in Norway. It has funded a comprehensive health outreach program in Sweden and Ebola education in Africa. And when local outreach programs in Rwanda resulted in hundreds of new believers and new church buildings were urgently needed, your gifts helped make that possible!

Our prayer is that you will be generous as we meet challenges and opportunities around the world to preach the Adventist message and paint a compelling portrait of God in many lands.

A Moment of Worship

There is a special moment in our worship when we put our faith into practice and allow it to grow. This moment involves returning a portion of what we often consider our own: what we’ve earned through hard work.

We sometimes forget the greatest Giver of every blessing. While it is true that I worked for my income, I did so only because God granted me strength and health. Without His blessing, nothing I have today would be possible.

King David’s prayer in 1 Chronicles 29:11–14 acknowledges that greatness, power, riches, and glory belong to God. He concludes by saying, ”Everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your hand.” David reminds us that every blessing has its source in God, and our giving should always be voluntary, joyful, and free from selfish motives.

A lesson that I learned early on has shaped my understanding of offerings. A stewardship director once told me, ”Don’t give for a person or for a project. Give because God asks you to. Give to God.” This mindset allows us to give an offering without worrying about who receives it or how it is spent. It is for God’s work, and He knows how best to use it.

After we give, the rest is in God’s hands. I receive so much from Him—health, family, time, and His Word—that nothing in this world is great enough to repay Him. So, how can I express my gratitude? By faithfully returning to God what already belongs to Him. As Malachi 3:10 reminds us, when we honor Him with our tithes and offerings, He promises to pour out blessings beyond measure.

 Place of Spiritual Renewal

Lake Whitney Ranch (LWR) in Clifton, Texas, has been a place of spiritual renewal, fellowship and growth for countless individuals and families over the years. It is a space where children learn the foundations of faith, where youth encounter Christ in transformative ways and where adults find rest, reflection and renewed purpose. God has used this camp to touch hearts and shape lives, and we believe He desires to continue this work for generations to come.

LWR is in a season of growth and renewal, and several important projects in the near future will better equip the camp for ministry. We are prayerfully inviting you to partner with us through prayer, service and your financial support.

All efforts and dedication do not go unnoticed by our Lord. May He continue to provide strength, knowledge, patience and love as we serve our church and community.

As you continue the good work, be uplifted by Paul’s reminder in Scripture, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.…It is the Lord Christ you are serving,” Colossians 3:23–24 NIV.

Una libertad aún mayor

El 4 de julio de 2026 celebramos el 250º aniversario de la fundación de los Estados Unidos de América. En este día, reconocemos y honramos la búsqueda en evolución de nuestra nación por la libertad para todos. Como cristianos, luchamos por una libertad aún más profunda y eterna que algún día experimentaremos cada día, gracias a la gracia y el sacrificio de Jesucristo. Gálatas 5:1 nos recuerda: “Es por la libertad que Cristo nos ha hecho libres”. Se nos ha concedido tanto el privilegio como la responsabilidad de compartir las buenas nuevas de esa libertad perfecta con nuestros vecinos, compañeros de trabajo y familias, para que ellos también puedan experimentar el regalo que Cristo ofrece.

El presupuesto local de las iglesias ayuda a las iglesias a hacer esto proporcionando un lugar para compartir el mensaje de Cristo a través de sermones, pequeños grupos, estudios bíblicos, convivencia y adoración dentro de cada comunidad. Tu donación al presupuesto de la iglesia local mantiene tu santuario funcionando como un entorno acogedor y cómodo—un lugar donde la gente puede escuchar y experimentar la libertad que se encuentra en Jesús. Qué privilegio ayudar a apoyar este lugar donde la libertad que tenemos en Cristo se enseña, celebra y comparte.

Presupuesto Mundial

Conocido por su velocidad y agilidad, el guepardo es el mamífero terrestre más rápido. Es capaz de acelerar de 0 a casi 100 Km/h en tan solo 3 segundos.

Cuando una situación inesperada afecta a nuestra iglesia, también nosotros debemos ser ágiles para responder con prontitud. Así podemos transformar un desafío en una oportunidad y ampliar el impacto de la misión de Dios en todo el mundo.

En los últimos años, el apoyo que brindamos a la ofrenda destinada al presupuesto mundial ha permitido financiar proyectos como un centro de misión en Europa del Este y estaciones de televisión en Noruega. También se impulsó un programa integral de promoción de la salud en Suecia y una campaña educativa sobre el ébola en África. Además, cuando los programas de alcance comunitario locales en Ruanda dieron como resultado cientos de nuevos hermanos y hermanas, y se hizo urgente la construcción de nuevos templos, ¡nuestras ofrendas ayudaron a hacerlo posible!

Oremos y seamos generosos acompañando este proyecto para enfrentar juntos los desafíos y oportunidades que surgen en todo el mundo, de predicar el mensaje adventista y presentar un retrato inspirador de Dios en muchas naciones.

Un Momento de Adoración

Hay un momento especial en nuestra adoración en el que ponemos nuestra fe en práctica y permitimos que crezca. Es el momento en que devolvemos a Dios una parte de lo que muchas veces consideramos nuestro: aquello que hemos ganado con nuestro esfuerzo y trabajo.

A veces olvidamos al verdadero Dador de toda bendición. Aunque es cierto que trabajamos con diligencia para obtener nuestros ingresos, solo podemos hacerlo porque Dios nos concede la fuerza, la salud, la sabiduría y las oportunidades. Sin Sus bendiciones, nada de lo que hoy tenemos sería posible.

El rey David reconoció esta verdad en su oración registrada en 1 Crónicas 29:11–14. Él declaró que la grandeza, el poder, la gloria, la victoria y las riquezas pertenecen a Dios. Luego concluyó diciendo: «Todo viene de Ti, y de lo recibido de Tu mano te damos». David nos recuerda que toda bendición tiene su origen en Dios y que nuestras ofrendas deben ser siempre voluntarias, alegres y motivadas por la gratitud, no por la obligación ni por intereses personales.

Una lección que aprendí al comienzo de mi vida cristiana ha marcado profundamente mi manera de entender las ofrendas. Un director de Mayordomía me dijo una vez: “No des por una persona ni por un proyecto. Da porque Dios te lo pide. Da para Dios”. Esa perspectiva transforma nuestra actitud al ofrendar. Podemos dar con confianza, no porque confiemos en las personas o en los programas, sino porque confiamos en Dios. Nuestras ofrendas son para Su obra, y Él es fiel para cumplir Sus propósitos por medio de ellas.

Una vez que hemos dado, el resto queda en las manos de Dios. Cada día Él me bendice con salud, familia, tiempo, Su Palabra y muchos otros regalos que jamás podría devolverle. Entonces, ¿cómo puedo expresar mi gratitud? Devolviéndole fielmente lo que ya le pertenece. Como nos recuerda Malaquías 3:10, cuando honramos a Dios con nuestros diezmos y ofrendas, Él nos invita a confiar en Él y promete derramar bendiciones hasta que sobreabunden.

 Lugar de Renovación Espiritual

Lake Whitney Ranch (LWR) en Clifton, Texas, ha sido un lugar de renovación espiritual, compañerismo y crecimiento para innumerables personas y familias a lo largo de los años. Es un espacio donde los niños aprenden los cimientos de la fe, donde los jóvenes se encuentran con Cristo de formas transformadoras y donde los adultos encuentran descanso, reflexión y un propósito renovado. Dios ha usado este campamento para tocar corazones y moldear vidas, y creemos que desea continuar esta labor durante generaciones.

LWR está en una época de crecimiento y renovación, y varios proyectos importantes en un futuro cercano prepararán mejor al campamento para el ministerio. Te invitamos a colaborar con nosotros a través de la oración, el servicio y tu apoyo financiero.

Todos los esfuerzos y dedicaciones no pasan desapercibidos para nuestro Señor. Que Él continúe brindando fuerza, conocimiento, paciencia y amor mientras servimos a nuestra iglesia y comunidad.
