New Season of texTalk Displays New Look, New Logo

Alvarado, Texas – texTalk, your digital resource for news and information from the Texas Conference, began its new season on March 2, 2026, with a new look, new logo and a new co-host. Tom Grove, vice president for Ministerial Development, joined Texas Conference President Elton DeMoraes for the English-language version. Previous co-host Kenn Dixon took a position elsewhere. Ismael Castillo, vice president for Hispanic Ministries and Spanish Evangelism, continues to co-host texTalk español, the Spanish-language version. Andy Esqueche, newly promoted director for Digital Communication & Production, now directs the monthly episodes.

“Kenn and I had a good time recording the episodes over the past four years,” Elton DeMoraes, Texas Conference president, said. With Esqueche now directing, the new team decided to switch up the set and update the logo. “I also heard the requests to shorten the segment,” DeMoraes continued. So, a timer was set in the studio for 15 minutes to monitor the content time. “I hope we can shorten it even more in the future, unless there is something major that we need to share,” DeMoraes added.

You can view the new episodes of texTalk below, or on Facebook and YouTube on the TexasAdventist channels, or texTalk español on Facebook and YouTube on the HispanosTXC channels, or on the TexasAdventist.org website. The president also has a weekly text you can subscribe to by texting the phrase TexasNews (with no space) to 51555. “We have multiple ways to communicate because we value the connection with our Texas Conference family,” DeMoraes concludes.
