Texas Conference Data Compromise Statement

The Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists has recently discovered a data security compromise involving an anonymous user. This compromise has resulted in the unauthorized access of user information, including social security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, and possibly personal banking information. We are currently investigating the matter and taking the necessary steps to address the situation. An FAQ has been created to answer your questions about this situation.

We regret to inform you that this data compromise has also affected our employee portal. As a result, the portal is currently unavailable. We are working diligently to develop some workarounds to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

The Texas Conference has arranged for a company to provide credit monitoring at no cost to the employee for 24 months.  We strongly suggest that you change all your bank account passwords, user logins, and any other login information that contains personal data and report any suspicious activities to the proper authorities.

If you have further questions regarding the incident, please visit our situation page at texasadventist.org/situation. Alternatively, you can call the following number: Texas Conference Communication & Public Relations Department: (817) 790-2255 ext. 2126.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this incident and request your prayers and patience. Our commitment to protecting your information and maintaining your trust remains unwavering.
