About Tom Grove

Dr. Tom Grove is a proud Pennsylvania native who now calls Texas home. He currently serves as Vice President for Ministry Development for the Texas Conference. Before assuming this role, he served as Associate Director and began his pastoral ministry in Texas as the Executive Pastor of the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church in Arlington, Texas. Prior to his move, Dr. Grove dedicated 15 years to pastoral ministry in the Pennsylvania Conference.

He is a graduate of Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University) in Takoma Park, MD and Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI where he earned both his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees. Dr. Grove has contributed articles to Adventist Review, Ministry, and Elder’s Digest. He is also the author of Joshua’s Men, a Men’s Spiritual Leadership curriculum published by AdventSource. This resource is used across the North American Division to mentor men in leadership within their homes, communities, and churches.

Dr. Grove has been happily married for 28 years to his wife, Deborah, a Speech-Language Pathologist. Together, they are the proud parents of Mark and Caroline. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, playing racquetball, and cheering for Pittsburgh sports teams.
