Passionate about branding and communication, Tamara Michalenko Terry, M.A., APR, is an associate director for Communication & Public Relations with the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Alvarado, Texas. Her bachelor’s and master’s degrees are in Public Relations, and she recently completed the Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations on May 1, 2024, entitling her to use the APR professional designation.

Having worked for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in various areas of communication for the past 30 years, Terry is inspired by sharing people’s stories. Whenever she has free time, she creates family scrapbooks or homemade cards. She and her husband, Randy, have three young adult sons. One of her favorite Bible verses is John 11:35, “Jesus Wept,” because it shows that Jesus truly understands when we are hurting.
