Smith Castillo has 18 years of combined experience in pastoral ministry and Christian education. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, Castillo felt the call to ministry early in life. He has dedicated his journey to helping young people grow spiritually and personally.

Castillo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a minor in Biblical Languages, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling, a Master of Arts in Educational Ministry and a Doctorate in Ministry Leadership.

He has served as a youth pastor, district pastor, religion teacher, teaching principal and academy principal throughout his ministry. He now serves as the associate superintendent of education for the Texas Conference.

He and his wife of 15 years share a love for ministry, travel and sports.
