Sandy Mars is the English Women’s Ministries Coordinator for the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. She has served the church in many different capacities but has a special love for women’s ministries and has been involved with this ministry for the past two decades. Sandy has been married to her husband, Averell, for almost 35 years, and together, they have an adult daughter and son.

Sandy is passionate about empowering women to reach their God-given potential as she seeks to encourage them to keep forging ahead to God’s heavenly kingdom.

A missionary at heart, Sandy has ministered through music or messages throughout Texas, her homeland Trinidad and Tobago, the US Virgin Islands, the United Kingdom, the Bahamas and India.  

She was recently recognized by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists Women’s Ministries as a “Passionate Leader of the Year” for her groundbreaking work with single young adult women between the ages of 13 and 25 as she seeks to reclaim our youth and make them “Single and Spiritually Strong.”

Sandy is passionate about evangelism and sincerely desires to share the good news of Jesus’ love and salvation with everyone so they can be saved. Most of all, Sandy wants to be known as the girl who loves Jesus!
