Nilda E. Diep was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She graduated from Antillean Adventist University in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, with a bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education and has worked for 16 years as a teacher for the Crowley and Fort Worth ISD school districts in Texas.
Nilda earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Andrews University in Michigan. Today, she serves in the Texas Conference as the Women’s Ministries Spanish coordinator. She is married to Sergio Rodríguez, with whom she has two children, Wesley and Lizbeth, and with whom she has worked in men’s ministries. Nilda enjoys preparing delicious meals, traveling to other countries, organizing activities for the women of the Texas Conference and photography. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 34:15, “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.”
