The Norse Seventh-day Adventist Church in Clifton, Texas, was the oldest Seventh-day Adventist church in Texas. Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church member Yddo Ortiz has arranged a special service there every year for the past 15 years or so on the second Sabbath in October to honor its history. He continued the legacy Marjorie Stowe started before him. It was an extra special project for her as she was a descendant of the Norse church pioneers.
During a recent visit, it was obvious that the church needed some extra care. Could you help us restore it to its former glory? Your gift of any size will be combined with other gifts to restore this historic church building and honor our Adventist history.
Consider joining us for this year’s special service. There is always a potluck after the service, and homemade peach cobblers are made just like they were many years ago.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
