I can only imagine how lonely Hannah felt while going to the temple, somewhat insecure in her marriage and perhaps ridiculed by other women because she could not have children. Nevertheless, she dressed in her best and did not allow her pain to stop her from seeking GOD.

Can you imagine a panicked mother putting on her coat and running through the streets in a desperate attempt to find JESUS to come to deliver her demon-possessed daughter, while all the neighbors looked on with disgust? Yet, she did not let their jeering stop her from going to GOD.

After all the best doctors had depleted her savings but failed to heal her, an aging woman wraps herself securely and drags herself to JESUS. Although He was surrounded by a large crowd, and she knew she would be judged or even punished for her audacity, this woman’s faith convinced her not to stop going toward GOD.

Perhaps Queen Esther, as she was being dressed to go to the king, remembered the day years before when she’d been dressing to attend her parents’ funeral. As an orphan with a broken heart, she must have felt that she would die; now, even as a queen, she very well might die for approaching the king without his permission. But that didn’t stop her. Queen Esther’s love for GOD and her people made her UNSTOPPABLE.
