The Bible shares in 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV), “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Giving often refers to financial gifts, but giving our time and talents is just as important. Many options exist, such as sharing your time and/or talents at a local church or school. Often challenged by limited resources, offering to visit once a quarter, once a month or once a week can make a difference.

Another giving opportunity is going through your personal items and sharing things you don’t use anymore. Instead of taking up space in your home, it could be blessing someone in theirs.

There is nothing like the feeling of brightening someone’s day. No matter how you feel, making someone feel good makes you feel good.

If you want to give financially, Texas Conference Planned Giving & Trust Services | Stewardship shares 12 projects below for your financial consideration. Email trust@txsda.org or call 817.790.2255 ext. 2105 to learn more about legacy giving.
