January 2025
10 Days of Prayer – Mark January 8 to 18, 2025, on your calendar and plan to join other Texas Conference prayer warriors on Zoom each evening at 7:00 pm and during the 24-hour prayer vigil held January 17-18, 2025. Find the Zoom link at TexasAdventist.org/prayer.
East Texas Convocation – Come to East Texas for a special Convocation scheduled for January 17-18, 2025. Services held in English will be at the Tyler Seventh-day Adventist Church with speaker Stephen Bohr and musical guests the King’s Heralds. Spanish services will take place at the Tyler Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church with speaker Miguel Patiño and musical guest coordinator Ruth Patiño. This event is postponed. We will promote the new date when it is finalized. – Spanish Men’s Retreat in the Valley – January 17-19, 2025
Adventurer Bible Game (Conference Level) – Pray for our young ones on January 18, 2025, as they participate in the conference level. They will answer questions about Exodus 2-5 & 7-20. Risk Management/Property Development Training – Local church leaders in the Dallas area are invited to join Texas Conference leaders on January 25-26, 2025, at the Dallas First Seventh-day Adventist Church to discuss risk assessments and/or property development. Email risk@txsda.org for more information.
Treasurer Training – This is a special online treasurer training event for Texas Conference groups wanting to have company status. Scheduled for January 26, 2025, local church group treasurers are encouraged to watch your email for registration details.
Laredo Convocation – All are welcome to attend the Laredo Convocation scheduled for January 31 – February 1, 2025, with speaker Oscar Rivera and music coordinated by the Montemorelos University music department. Watch for more information coming soon on the TexasAdventist.org website or TXSDA App.
