Heber Sorto joined the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Communication & Public Relations team in September 2022 as a digital content specialist.
In this role, Sorto will work with Texas Conference departments to design promotional material for print and social needs. He is also part of the Texas Conference media team as a cameraperson and video editor, among other responsibilities, especially on location.
Sorto attended the University of Houston for two years, studying TV production and 3D effects. He is a self-taught graphic designer with experience in Photoshop and CorelDRAW.
“Heber and his brother, Jonathan, assisted us with a few media events earlier this year, so we were excited when he applied for one of our open positions,” Kenn Dixon, Texas Conference vice president for Communication & Public Relations, shared. “His experience and willingness to learn are a benefit to our team. We look forward to watching his career develop in our department.”
Sorto is currently working on a videography degree, with completion in 2023.
