About Tom Grove

Tom Grove, D.Min., is vice president of Ministerial Development for the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. A proud Pennsylvania native, he dedicated 15 years to pastoral ministry in the Pennsylvania Conference before moving to Texas, where he was executive pastor of the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church. Next, he served as associate director of Ministerial Development before assuming his current role at the Texas Conference.

Grove is a graduate of Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University) in Takoma Park, Maryland, and of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, where he earned both his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees. He has contributed articles to Adventist ReviewMinistry, and Elder’s Digest. He is also the author of Joshua’s Men, a men’s spiritual leadership curriculum published by AdventSource that is used across the North American Division to mentor men in leadership within their homes, communities, and churches.

For nearly 30 years, Grove has been happily married to his wife, Deborah, a speech-language pathologist. Together, they are the proud parents of two adult children, Mark and Caroline. In his free time, Grove enjoys reading, traveling, playing racquetball, and cheering for Pittsburgh sports teams.
