Alvarado, Texas, June 25, 2026 – The Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists’ Executive Committee members elected Robyn-Anna Grimsley, Ed.D., as vice president for Education at the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Alvarado, Texas, during their regularly scheduled in-person meeting in June.
Grimsley has been an elementary school teacher at The Oaks Adventist Christian School in Cypress, Texas, a principal at Fort Worth Adventist Junior Academy, and an associate superintendent for the Texas Conference during her more than 20 years in educational work. She began in 2002 as a third-grade teacher at Mitchell Boulevard Elementary School in the Fort Worth Independent School District.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The University of Texas at Arlington, then earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas. This year, she completed her Doctor of Education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
