Stewardship is the transformation we undergo when Jesus is at the center of our lives. It is both a gift and a responsibility we hold toward God, each other and the Earth. God cares about every aspect of our existence, including our relationships, health, time management, finances, the use of our talents for Him and how we care for our planet. Ultimately, stewardship is about living a grateful life—thankful for all we have been given.

The Art of Reverse Logic

We live in an age where “more is better.” We admire those who accumulate fortunes and climb solitary mountains of success, yet the culture of heaven operates with a logic that overturns our assumptions. In God’s kingdom, to be rich, you must give up everything.
To show us this, Scripture presents the most disruptive biography in history, found in Philippians 2:5-8. Unlike our upward trajectories, Jesus’ path moved downward. Though He was God, He did not cling to His status. The Bible says that He emptied Himself, entering the world in a stable and taking the form of a servant. While the world chased thrones, He searched for a manger.
It’s frustrating and, honestly, a bit embarrassing to realize that the disciples argued about who among them was the greatest right after Jesus spoke to them about His sacrifice on our behalf. But if we are honest, we do the same. That’s why Jesus was so direct in Mark 9:35 ISV: “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”
Generosity is not merely about parting with money; we can often give substantially from our leftovers. True generosity requires a shift in our operating system. It means understanding that:
· Greatness isn’t measured by how many serve you, but by how many you serve.
· Wealth isn’t what you keep, but what you plant.
· Fulfillment comes when we live the Golden Rule found in Matthew 7:12:
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.”
Giving is the purest act of rebellion against a selfish world. When you choose to give, you stop competing for a place on Earth and start making room for yourself in the kingdom of God.

Vivimos en una época en la que “más es mejor.” Admiramos a quienes acumulan fortunas y escalan montañas solitarias de éxito, pero la cultura del cielo opera con una lógica que vuelca nuestras suposiciones. En el reino de Dios, para ser rico, hay que renunciar a todo.
Para mostrarnos esto, las Escrituras presentan la biografía más disruptiva de la historia, encontrada en Filipenses 2:5-8. A diferencia de nuestras trayectorias ascendentes, el camino de Jesús descendió. Aunque era Dios, no se aferraba a Su estatus. La Biblia dice que se vació a sí mismo, entrando en el mundo en un establo y tomando la forma de un siervo. Mientras el mundo perseguía tronos, Él buscaba un pesebre.
Es frustrante y, sinceramente, un poco penoso darse cuenta de que los discípulos discutieron sobre quién de ellos era el mayor justo después de que Jesús les hablara sobre su sacrificio en nuestro nombre. · La grandeza no se mide por cuántos te sirven, sino por cuántos sirves.
· La riqueza no es lo que guardas, sino lo que plantas.
· La plenitud llega cuando vivimos la Regla de Oro que se encuentra en
Mateo 7:12: “Así que, en todo, haz a los demás lo que quieres que te hagan a ti”.
Dar es el acto más puro de rebeldía contra un mundo egoísta. Cuando eliges dar, dejas de competir por un lugar en la tierra y empiezas a anhelar un lugar en el reino de Dios.
