DESCRIPTION:\n\nWomen’s Ministries Offering\n\n \n\nAll around the North American Division women find creative ways to serve their communities. Today’s annual Women’s Ministries offering helps provide opportunities for more women to become involved, and out of these opportunities come stories of those whose lives have been changed by your generosity.\n\n \n\nThese include the group of Adventist women who are helping provide for the personal needs of teen girls living in a shelter.  Stories like the woman who, from her own personal experience, understands the challenges facing a single mother, and with some friends started a ministry to provide single moms and their children with a safe place to live, life skills training, and after-school tutoring. Stories of a group of women who decided to take seriously the mentoring words of Titus 2, teaching younger women in their church and women in their community financial skills, how to preserve food, how to cope with grief, and more, and now some of those women are in Bible studies!\n\n \n\nThese funds also help provide leadership training for women. Additionally, a portion of our Women’s Ministries offering helps to supplement the scholarship fund from the proceeds of the Women’s Ministries Devotional book, continuing the legacy of faith and service to future generations.\n\n \n\nAs you give, please pray for more opportunities for women in our local church and beyond to live out Hebrews 13:16 (NIV) “Do not neglect to do good and to share with others…”\n\n \n\nMinisterio de la Mujer\n\n \n\nEn toda la División Norteamericana, las mujeres encuentran formas creativas de servir a sus comunidades. La ofrenda anual de hoy para El Ministerio de la Mujer ayuda a proporcionar oportunidades para que más mujeres se involucren. Mediante estas oportunidades surgen historias de mujeres cuyas vidas han cambiado gracias a nuestra generosidad.\n\n \n\nEntre ellas, está la del grupo de mujeres adventistas que ayudan a cubrir las necesidades personales de las adolescentes que viven en un centro de acogida. Testimonios como el de la mujer que, a partir de su propia vivencia personal, comprende los desafíos a los que se enfrenta una madre soltera, y junto con algunas amigas, puso en marcha un ministerio para proporcionar a las madres solteras y a sus hijos un lugar seguro donde vivir; o la formación en habilidades para la vida y tutoría escolar. Grupos de mujeres que siguieron las palabras de Tito 2, enseñando a las más jóvenes de su iglesia y a las de la comunidad, habilidades financieras; cómo conservar alimentos; a hacer frente al duelo y mucho más. Y lo más hermoso es que, ¡ ahora algunas de ellas están tomando estudios bíblicos!\n\n \n\nEstos fondos también ayudan a ofrecer formación de liderazgo para mujeres. Gran parte de nuestra ofrenda se destina a complementar el fondo de becas con las ganancias del libro devocional del Ministerio de la Mujer, continuando el legado de fe y servicio a las generaciones futuras.\n\n \n\nAl dar la ofrenda de hoy, por favor ore por más oportunidades para que las mujeres de nuestra iglesias puedan vivir lo que está escrito en Hebreos 13:16 “No se olviden de hacer el bien y de compartir con otros lo que tienen, porque esos son los sacrificios que agradan a Dios” (NVI).\n\n \n\n \n\n
